Memories (2023)

The mural is an enlargement of a cold-needle print made by Charlotte Thiis-Evensen.

The starting point is a photograph from the 1970s in which she holds her little sister.

The outline of this motif is drawn into a zinc plate and printed on paper. In the next step, the graphic motif has been transferred to a stencil that is spray-painted on the outbuilding in Hellmannparken. The painting is from a series of works that examine the meaning of memories, time and duration.

The work was shown at Buer Gallery in the fall of 2024 and was donated to

Hellmannparken in Moss by Rasmus Os.
